$50 Non-Refundable Rider Registration Fee (includes T-shirt)
$10 Meal Ticket

  • Each rider must fundraise $200 to be eligible to participate in the event.  Riders must be at least 18 years old

Fundraising Information

Each rider must fundraise $200 to be eligible to participate in the event.  You may turn in donations on Ride morning.

  • Online donations will be accepted until midnight on October 20th. 
  • Awards for top 5 money raising riders will be determined by contributions received by midnight, October 20th.
  • If you have offline donations, please mail them to SGK Tyler P.O. Box 6217 Tyler, Texas 75711 - please do not mail cash.
  • Please make checks payable to SGK Tyler Ride for the Cure.
  • All donations are tax deductible.

Schedule of Events

Saturday, October 22

6:30 a.m. - Parking Area Opens

6:30 a.m. - Rider Registration opens

7:00 a.m. -Breakfast
Light breakfast provided
 
8:00 a.m. - Advanced, 3-4 hour Trail Ride (various creek crossings)

9:00 a.m. – Intermediate, 1 1/2 hour Trail Ride (with easy creek crossings)

9:30 a.m. – Beginner,1 hour Trail Ride (no creek crossings)

12:00 - 1:00 p.m.  - Lunch and Door Prizes
Lunch will be box sandwich lunches and chips from Brookshire's

1:00 p.m. - Awards Ceremony

Safety

For the safety of all riders and horses:

  • No alcoholic beverages permitted at this event
  • Ride limited to the first 100 participants
  • Riders must be 18 years of age and older
  • Trail Guides will lead all rides
  • Quarter horses will set the pace vs gaited horses
  • No stallions permitted
  • Current Negative Coggins must be presented at Rider Check In for each horse participating
  • There may be some high brush - jeans and/or chaps recommended
  • No loose dogs at the event
  • EMT and Vet will be on-site in case of an emergency
